Everything comes with Shenade.

Shenade brings all cleaning products, a hoover, mop and all the cleaning utensils needed for your visit. There’s no need to buy or organise anything before she arrives.

You are booking an appointment rather than buying a guaranteed list of tasks. The timings below are a guide to the shape of the visit; what we can complete depends on the current condition of your home and the priorities you choose.

No initial deep clean required.

We don’t insist on a separate deep clean before regular housekeeping starts. We simply begin with your first appointment, agree what matters most, and chip away at anything that needs extra attention visit by visit. Every home is different, so the amount completed will naturally depend on its current condition.

Weekly customers currently receive a 5% discount. One-off deep cleans and end-of-tenancy cleans are quoted separately and subject to availability.

Invoices & payment

Invoices are sent via WhatsApp immediately after your clean and are due for payment straight away. Every invoice includes an easy payment link.

For customers on monthly invoicing, the first clean is invoiced via WhatsApp immediately afterwards and payment is due straight away. After that, invoices are sent via WhatsApp after the last clean of each month and are also due for payment straight away.

Based in Birmingham B29, Shenade supports homes in her local area and nearby neighbourhoods that are easily reached by public transport. Coverage is agreed individually, taking the journey and appointment time into account.

Meet Shenade

A proud mum of four. A helping hand for your home.

Alongside raising her four children, Shenade has worked as a team leader for a large national cleaning company, delivering domestic cleaning and supporting high standards in customers’ homes.

It was there that she met Peter, who went on to build his own successful business, The Bearded Collective. Now Peter is supporting Shenade as she takes the leap to launch her own independent housekeeping business, while she continues to work alongside him a couple of days a week.

Housekeeping by Shenade is independently run and affiliated with The Bearded Collective.
